Gossypol

Occurs due to consumption of cottonseed or cottonseed products that contain excess free gossypol and can affect high-producing dairy cows with high feed intake.

Common symptoms:

Irregular cycling in cows and buffaloes
Weakness, edema of the brisket, haemoglobinuria etc.
