Clinical Mastitis
It is one of the 3 forms of udder infections where physical changes are clearly visible in udder and milk. High yielding animals are more prone. Mainly caused by bacteria (around 100 types).
Common symptoms: Swollen udder, decrease in milk yield, change in milk colour and consistency, Fever etc. Practice clean milk production practices regularly to avoid mastitis.
