Chronic mastitis

A persistent infection of udder. Chances of recovery of chronically affected quarters are very low once atrophy/fibrosis has occurred.

Common symptoms:

Atrophy of affected udder, fibrosis and subsequent loss of milk production in the affected quarter.

Separate the affected cows from rest of the herd and milk such animals towards the end.
